12V Dynator to fit the Alvis Speed Siver Eagle. Produces 90A compared to approximately 20A of the original. Another advantage is that the Dynator weighs approximately 6kg compared to 10kg of the original dynamo.
Please note that due to the drive layout in the Alvis engine, the original dynamo is driven at less than crankshaft speed. Once the Dynator is fitted, it may be necessary to 'blip the throttle' in order to start the alternator charging
