Lancia Aurelia

12V Dyantor to fit Lancia Aurelias. Originally the dynamo was eccentrically mounted within a circular body and belt tensioning was performed by rotating the dynamo. The Dynator is not eccentically mounted, so the belt is tensioned using a split pulley and shims. Changing the distance between the pulley halves, changes the effective diameter of the pulley and the belt tension. This Dynator is supplied with a split pulley and many shims so the correct belt tension can be set.

This Dynator produces 50A compared to 25A of the original dynamo and weighs considerably less. Body dimensions are 100mm diameter by 163mm long. Negative earth only.
