This 12V Dynator unit replaces the MG J2 / MG N / MG P  type dynamo. It has an output of 50A compared to 20A originally. Negative earth applications only.

Two versions of this unit are available. The difference between the two are the drive shafts:

LMDMGM002 - tapered keyed shaft drive end, 3/4 inch keyed shaft with male thread, camshaft end

LMDMGM001 - 1/2 inch keyed straight shaft drive end, 5/8 inch keyed shaft with female thread, camshaft end

Electrical connection to the vehicle is easy and straight forward. Fitting instructions are given in the downloads section below.
