V8 Small/Big Block (153 & 168T ring gear)

High torque starter motors to fit the small and big block Chevrolet V8 engine fitted with a 153 & 168 tooth ring gear.

Three units available, one based on a Hitachi PMGR unit (negative earth only!) and two others on a Denso starter (suitable for both negative and positive earth vehicles). All three starter motors replace starter motors having 25mm diameter pinions with 9 teeth.

In normal applications select the 1.4kW Denso unit (LMS875), but if space and weight are critical select the Hitachi (LMS273). If more power is needed, select the 2kW Denso unit (LMS877)
